MVC GRAD HITS #3 IN LATEST NURSING BOARD RESULTS

(lifted from MVC Cyberflashes)

Pierre Creed Garin Florendo, a 2007 graduate of Mountain View College School of Nursing, and son of School of Nursing alumna Crezilda Garin-Florendo, successfully made it into the Top Five of the recent licensure examination given by the Board of Nursing of the Professional Regulation Commission of the Philippines. He is in third place with a rating of 87.20%. The highest rating was 88%.
Overall, Mountain View College got a high passing rate of 75% distributed as 76% for first-timers and 72% for repeaters. It is one of the highest ratings that MVC got in recent years.
The other Adventist nursing schools fared well, too, with the following performance ratings: AUP - 52% overall (65% first-timers and 29% repeaters); CPAC - 60% overall (60% first-timers and 58% repeaters); MAMC-SMA - 70% (first batch of nursing graduates); MSH CMAFI - 61% overall (65% first-timers and 26% repeaters); and NLAC - 40% overall (53% first-timers and 17% repeaters). These results show that repeaters also deserve to be nurtured equally with the first-timers because the overall results include their examination ratings, too.
Congratulations to Pierre Creed Garin Florendo of MVC as well as to all new nursing board passers. We are happy for you. We also congratulate the MVCSN Faculty and Staff led by Prof. Elsa P. Lucenara for patiently mentoring our nursing students toward a successful career in nursing.
Pierre and his family is a member of Vancouver Filipino SDA Church

This short video was prepared by a sheriff's office in Florida but is certainly appropriate no matter where we live. New concepts of thievery have a way of spreading. It just takes two minutes but I'm sure you won't think your time is wasted.
Stay safe!
