In the past 4 decades there had been three different examinations administered to graduating high school seniors. Then there was the National Secondary Assessment Test (NSAT) which measured the mastery level of students in different subject areas. Since last school year there was the NCAE.
All these tests were developed and regulated by the National Education Testing and Research Center (NETRC). The NETRC is headed by Dr. Nelia Vargas Benito, Director III who is an alumna of PUC/AUP Academy. Results of the NCAE will be released in November. smartsweep.ph. This is designed to complement the school's existing ECE programs by providing training and lectures on the latest developments in wireless technology. AUP is one of the schools and universities that has been granted with this Program. "Smart had provided all the materials and workers for the BTS. They also put up a live GSM platform on the tower for better Smart cellphone signal that covers AUP to Muzon area. Joyce Pamintuan, a former Smart customer care officer also confirmed that to provide better cellphone signal for AUP Smart subscribers is just secondary to its purpose, and to use it for ITC's speed internal access is just a possibility but not it's main intent.
